We use this information strictly to manage your stay reservations, send booking confirmations and check-in details, reply to your inquiries, and fulfill regulatory lodging requirements in Sarasota, Florida.
3. Payment Security & Third-Party Processors
All online payment transactions are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers, CVVs, or payment credentials on our servers.
4. Data Retention & Your Rights
You may request a copy of your personal data or request deletion of non-essential booking records by contacting us at privacy@sarasotacottage.com or via our .

Effective date: August 28, 2026
1. Check-in & Check-out
Check-in starts at 3:00 PM (4:00 PM for Sunny Sarasota Cottage). Check-out is strictly by 11:00 AM to allow our cleaning team to prepare the home for arriving guests.
2. Occupancy & Quiet Hours
Maximum occupancy is 8 guests for Sunny Sarasota Cottage and 4 guests for Resort Mobile Home. Resort-wide quiet hours are observed between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM daily.
3. Pet Policy
Pets are welcome with prior registration and payment of the applicable pet fee. In accordance with Sun Outdoors resort regulations, pets must be kept on a leash in all common areas.
4. Property Care & Guest Responsibility
Guests agree to treat the home and resort amenities with care. Any significant damages or missing inventory during the stay may be billed to the primary registered guest.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Standard Cancellation Schedule
- Full Refund (100%): Cancellations submitted at least 14 days prior to the scheduled check-in date.
- Partial Refund (50%): Cancellations submitted between 7 and 13 days prior to check-in.
- Non-refundable: Cancellations made within 7 days of scheduled check-in.
2. Severe Weather & Force Majeure
In the event of a mandatory evacuation or severe tropical weather warning issued by Sarasota County authorities, guests will receive a 100% refund or free date rescheduling.
3. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.
